The valuation of a company is the most critical tool in the skillset of a career starter when joining a global investment bank or a private equity fund.

In our class you will receive a crash course in the international practical market standards of the valuation of a corporate using different techniques and approaches. Our class will feature a full day case study based on real live valuation approaches on global landmark M&A transactions.

The class will be instructed in person by Florian P. Meyer. Florian works as Executive Director with Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division in the European Industrials Team and as freelancer instructor offering workshops at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Our class will cover the following key learning areas:

• Business plan modelling and analysis
• Multiple valuation methods
• Discounted cash flow valuation
• Leveraged Buyout (LBO) modelling
• Creating and understanding a football field

All analyses will be carried out by using Microsoft Excel. Students can participate live in the class in building the financial model and will receive complete templates and solutions to class materials after the end of our full day workshop.

The workshop will take place on Saturday 5th December 2023 at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

The class starts at 9am CET and is dedicated to end between 5-6pm CET.

The workshop takes place at a minimum number of 25 participants. At lower participation rates the workshop may be cancelled upon the discretion of the vendor.

Cancellation policy:

Participants can cancel their participation at 100% refund of paid price until 3 weeks before the workshop. Last date of cancellation is on that basis Saturday 11th November 2023 close of business. Thereafter late cancellation will receive no refund but participants who are unable to join are free to sell their ticket to other persons and have to inform the vendor accorindingly.
